July 23, 2012-   Third State of the nation address of our president Benigno Aquino III has been delivered at the Batasang Pambansa at exactly four (4) pm in the afternoon.

Philippines has been waiting for this momentous event every year, the SONA wherein the president will say all his accomplishments during the last years of his administration for every sector of it and his plans for the next years of his leadership.

The president mentioned how well are some members of his administration who have done their job well and still continuing to do so, for being active and doing their job for what it must be. He also mentioned the accomplishment and improvements when it comes to the economy, continuous infrastructure, high budget on education, tourism, decreasing of the jobless and other sector. He also said that he will give attention to the Arm Forces of the Philippines (AFP), giving additional to the equipments needed so that we could defend what really belongs to us.

In accordance to these accomplishments, he said that “ iwaksi ang kututra ng negatibismo”. We must concentrate on the positive things that were made not by his administration but for all the workers and citizens of the country who are doing their job well with honesty and integrity. He also said that “ nangingibabaw na ang liwanag” which gives every Filipino hope for a better tomorrow.
Other than that, the president did not forget to mention the mess of the past administration that his administration acquired. They still do their best to remove the corruption so that the people will be benefit of their money and what they deserve as the citizen of the country. Even if Pnoy did not mention the names of the former president Gloria Macapagal Arroyo and former Chief of Justice Renato Corona he mentioned phrases for them. He even said that   “ ang magpatawad maaari, ang makalimot hindi” that refers to what the former officials did which simply says that he will forgive, but he will never forget. This also implicates that he don’t have the idea of letting it pass without doing any action.

Moreover, some just noticed that Pnoy did not mention anything about Freedom Information Bill that many of the viewers have been waiting for, specially the media people who are he concerned one.
